"Hong Kong Revisited" is one of the key projects of HK in Albion. Through research, documentation, and public participation, we aim to explore the multiple identities, meanings, and contributions of Hongkongers in the UK. We hope to foster dialogue and collaboration to collectively create shared memories.

Since the 1950s, large numbers of Hong Kong people have moved to the UK in response to labour market demands and social changes in Hong Kong. We worked quietly in industries such as laundry and catering, while also laying the groundwork for our children to pursue professional careers.

Core Historical Revisit
We will explore significant figures, events, and moments from Hong Kong’s past, including its historical ties with Britain. This collection includes interesting historical materials and analyses about Hong Kong and the British colonial period, enriching the narrative of Hong Kong's story.
Diaspora-focused Stories
We will feature interviews, personal stories, and family history collections to highlight the identity of Hong Kongers abroad and their contributions to the UK over the past five decades.
