Albion is an ancient name for Britain. We chose this name in the hope of transcending political boundaries and presenting a broader vision — one of shared history, shared home, and a shared future.
HK in Albion is a platform established in 2025, dedicated to building a network that connects Hongkongers with communities across the United Kingdom, fostering meaningful dialogue, collaboration, and contribution.
Hong Kong has long been a crossroads of East and West, where diverse values, systems, traditions, and modern ways of life meet, clash, and ultimately coexist. After more than 180 years of interaction, Britain has become part of Hong Kong’s history; likewise, Hong Kong has become part of Britain’s story. The Hong Kong community is now an essential and vibrant strand within the wider British Chinese diaspora.

We will put this belief into practice through a range of activities — including forums, workshops, guided tours, and exhibitions — creating spaces where diverse voices can meet and exchange ideas. Through revisiting and uncovering overlooked histories and sharing these stories with wider audiences, we hope to deepen understanding and illuminate the rich diversity of Hong Kong as it becomes part of Albion’s broader landscape.
